Andrew Van Ostrand has 25 years of healthcare policy, government affairs, and strategy experience across the healthcare technology, payer, medical device, and trade association markets. Prior to joining Sirona, Andrew led government affairs at Hims & Hers Health, advocating on a range of telehealth, data privacy, AI, and DTC pharmacy & drug compounding issues. Before joining Hims, Andrew led government affairs at One Medical (now part of Amazon). Earlier in his career Andrew spent time in leadership roles at PatientPing (now Bamboo Health), Cigna, Medtronic, the Health Industry Distributors Association, and The Advisory Board Company (now part of Optum). Andrew received his bachelor’s degree in political science from Northeastern University and his master’s degree in economics from Trinity College, University of Dublin. He has extensive media and public speaking training and has helped a range of organizations stand up their policy and government affairs functions, from strategy, goals and objectives development to results tracking and execution
