“Every canceled telehealth appointment is a patient left waiting, sometimes for care they can’t get any other way,” Chris Adamec, executive director for the Alliance for Connected Care, told Inside Health Policy. “While some health providers have continued to offer care these past three weeks, it is not sustainable for them to continue without a clear indication that reimbursement will be available. Stable telehealth policies are essential for clinicians to provide uninterrupted care for patients who need it most.”
