Jessica Porras is a top-performing leader with deep knowledge of federal health care programs and policies, with thorough understanding of Medicare payment rules and health care information exchange. She is passionate about the use of emerging technologies and data to streamline operations, drive decision-making, and transform health care delivery.

Prior to joining Sirona Strategies, Jessica Porras worked as Deputy Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor at the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response. In that role she managed daily operations and directed priority initiatives in cybersecurity, information management, artificial intelligence, and healthcare preparedness. Before that, she worked as a Policy Advisor in the Immediate Office of the HHS Secretary where she managed programmatic and policy issues focused on Medicare payment rules, Medicare alternative payment models, and information blocking.

Jessica Porras also worked as an Associate Director and Senior Manager at CAQH, a non-profit focused on streamlining healthcare administrative processes. In that role she provided strategic guidance on policy and legislative matters, as well as managed education programming. She has a long federal government career history, with stints at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and U.S. Senator Richard J. Durbin.

Jessica has a Master of Public Administration from American University and a Bachelor of Art’s degree in history from Yale University.
