Katie Ghougasian She serves as a Sirona Strategies Health Policy Fellow conducting research and supporting clients as she pursues her dream of attending medical school.
Prior to joining Sirona, Katie worked with the Government Affairs team at the National Association of County and City Health Officials where she helped advocate for increased funding for health departments. Additionally, she completed her MPH practicum with the Drug and Injury Prevention Team at Guilford County Health Department in North Carolina where she conducted research on policies that impact resources available to people with substance use disorder.
In addition to earning her MPH in Health Policy from George Washington University, Katie earned a B.A. in Religious Studies and B.S. in Public Health from the University of Miami.
