Leah Hoey

Associate

Leah Hoey brings experience in public health, applied research, and health policy. Her background includes policy analysis, qualitative and mixed-methods research, and stakeholder engagement across academic, government, and nonprofit settings, with a focus on synthesizing findings into policy and program recommendations. 

Previously, she held research roles at the George Washington University and Gather for a Hunger Free Community, supported a national research grant on HIV and COVID-19 policy and provider education, and has developed and led community-based health programming focused on behavioral health, prevention, and nutrition. 

Leah earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health with minors in Nutrition and Biology from the George Washington University. She is pursuing her Master of Public Health in Health Policy at the Milken Institute School of Public Health at the George Washington University.
