Moving Health Home Executive Director Featured in a Hospital-at-Home Highlight
Moving Health Home Executive Director Krista Drobac emphasized the need to make hospital-at-home a permanent part of the health care system.
InvestigateTV recently spotlighted the growing role of hospital-at-home programs in meeting rising demand for care as America’s population ages and hospitals face capacity constraints. The piece highlights how hospital-level care can be safely delivered in the home with remote monitoring, daily nursing visits, virtual physician check-ins, and rapid escalation protocols when needed. More than 30,000 patients have received care through the program, with similar models operating at more than 350 hospitals nationwide.
Moving Health Home Executive Director Krista Drobac underscored the importance of recent bipartisan action extending the Acute Hospital Care at Home waiver through September 2030, while emphasizing the need for permanence.
“It was a very long journey and we are really thrilled that more and more hospitals are going to start coming online doing this now because there is more regulatory certainty,” said Krista Drobac
