Jeremiah McCoy comes to Sirona Strategies with experience in health policy and regulatory analysis, research, coalition and partnership management, and advocacy. In roles ranging from non-profits to Capitol Hill, he has developed an expertise in Medicare fee-for-service, Medicare Advantage, value-based care, and prescription drug policy.
Most recently, Jeremiah was the Senior Regulatory Policy Specialist at the National Council on Aging (NCOA), a national leader helping those 60+ age well. At NCOA, he led efforts to analyze and comment on regulatory and administrative rules and contributed to federal advocacy on health care policy. Prior to NCOA, Jeremiah was the Health Policy Analyst at the Better Medicare Alliance, where he worked to improve Medicare Advantage and Part D policies to ensure consumer access, quality, and affordability.
Before that, Jeremiah was a Research Consultant at the National Pharmaceutical Council, a health policy research trade association, where he supported efforts to conduct peer-reviewed research on critical issues within the industry. Jeremiah has also spent time on Capitol Hill where he worked for Senator Bob Casey and for Senate HELP Committee Ranking Member Patty Murray. In other roles, Jeremiah has managed extensive research projects and is a published author in the field of behavioral vaccinology.
Jeremiah carries a BA in Political Science from Messiah University and an MS in Health Policy from George Mason University.
