Katie Ghougasian, MPH

Katie recently earned her Master of Public Health in Health Policy from George Washington University. She is serving as a Health Policy Fellow at Sirona Strategies while she applies to medical school for the fall of 2025.

Prior to joining Sirona, Katie worked with the Government Affairs team at the National Association of County and City Health Officials where she helped advocate for increased funding for health departments. Additionally, she completed her MPH practicum with the Drug and Injury Prevention Team at Guilford County Health Department in North Carolina where she conducted research on policies that impact resources available to people with substance use disorder.

In addition to earning her MPH in Health Policy from George Washington University, Katie earned a B.A. in Religious Studies and B.S. in Public Health from the University of Miami.
