Ashila Jiwani comes to Sirona Strategies with experience in healthcare policy and advocacy, non-profit work, and humanitarian relief work. She is strongly committed to public health, global health, community engagement, organizing, and advocacy.

Before joining Sirona, Ashila worked in the non-profit space, leading advocacy strategies focused on health care legislation to advance health care and equity. Additionally, Ashila also served as the Clinical Director for MobileVAX, consulting Community Organized Relief (CORE) Response on best practices for the COVID-19 vaccination rollout strategy in the state of Georgia. While working heavily in the pandemic relief space, she piloted the Georgia mobile vaccination teams for the South-Central Georgia public health districts.

Ashila has worked to advance legislation focused on increasing access to health care for immigrant families. Her key interests in health care are rooted in the utilization of multidisciplinary teams to maximize access to health care, the intersection of law and health care to address health-harming legal needs, and the inclusion of nurses in decision-making capacities. Additionally, she has vast experience in community organizing with federal elections.

Ashila earned her Master of Science from Georgetown University, her Master in Business Administration from Mercer University, and her Bachelor of Arts from Mercer University. Ashila is trained in political communications strategy by Arena Academy and is also trained as a registered nurse.
